Burning Sands

An ocean of sand, consumed by flame
A lone figure walking the line of fine grains
Alone they are small but in force are something to behold
The sight that with endless range carries into time
Forces of nature try to mark and scratch at its form
But with ease the desert takes the blows
A swift shift of winds reorganises the waves of sand
Covering scars with an elemental fury that refuses to back down
A lone figure walking, slight and with face unknown
The only one to brave an ocean that would swallow others
Forever striding to outrun the flames
