Corner Retreats

When the blades are sharpened, his enemies closing in
A man retreats to what he knows best, his ultimate escape
For me a bar stool in a tavern, one called lost hope
The bartender, my depression, with a poison ready to invibe
Til the enemies are outnumbered, by the ghosts that haunt my fevered rythme
